Autumn

Good evening! Gosh it seems like ages since I last posted. It has been a busy and productive summer! I can't believe, the September is almost over! Where has the time gone?
Finally did some crochet. A pot-holder commissioned by a good friend, for a good cause :) My own design, which I really enjoyed crafting. Also, finally got round to some proper baking! My mum's old recipes. The old ones are always the best. They take me right back to my childhood, licking out mum's mixing bowl, when she had finished using it :)
A couple of weeks ago, we went foraging for wild mushrooms! We found some beauts!

Addicted to crochet & designing!

Good afternoon! I'm on a roll, at the mo. Got heaps of ideas buzzing around in my head, regarding crochet! I have a few designs to get tested, then I can try selling them! Life is great; crochet is even better :D

Break of dawn sweater (not based on any movie!)

Good morning!

I've had a productive day! Just finished typing up my new pattern, for my Break of dawn sweater. Have sent it to my friend for testing (she has kindly agreed to give it the once over). Once it gets the thumbs up, I can put it in my rav store :)))

Here I am modeling it, on Saturday. I wore it to a friend's wedding do  :) Pics taken by my DH.

New sweater

Current WIP! Started yesterday morning! LOVING it so far! Oh, as usual, it is my own design :) My sweet pea seeds are starting to germinate, the frogs have been piling up in the sedge, to enjoy the sunshine! And my mock-orange is full of buds! JOY!

Summer romance Cardigan

Cute cardie/cover-up is finished!!!!!! And I just LOVE it. It fits like a glove and looks FAB! And the yarns are gifts from my dear friend Anne & my DH!

Spring has finally sprung!!!

Some gorgeous Spring flowers/shoots, from our front garden! Now, add the sound of bird song (blackbird, blue tit & sparrow) and warmth of the sun! I wish I could tape the bird song; it is so magical and so relaxing :)

Spring!!!

Spring has finally sprung-ish !!! We have had some sunshine, and warm temps, but the pesky wind is spoiling things. My poor daffs are getting wrecked. I've rescued a fair few, for my vase.

Here are my latest chooky treasures! I like to think of them as free-ranging on my window sill :) The large chicken is Mr Weebles Corn-Fed, and the yellow chap is Mr Herbert Butter-top, both named by my wonderful DH!
